I consider these cards Tier 1 because you get an elevated, unique experience with them as a standalone card. However, these cards also come with a large annual fee, $450 - $695 per year. In our experience the benefits heavily outweigh the costs. There is a lot of value gained from these cards, but it is important to make sure that it is a good fit for you before applying.

I consider these cards Tier 2 because they still provide good value, but for frequent travelers, might leave a bit to be desired. That being said, these cards have a more affordable annual fee less than $450.
